Five of Cups: Disappointment

Analysis:
There is no real substance to the friendships we have surrounded ourselves with. Relationships that bring no satisfaction. When we look to the past, we find ourselves filled with regret. Losing hope we find ourselves worrying about the future. There are inherent flaws in our plans that now begin to show themselves.

This day is heavily influenced by a masculine figure who tends to pursue the issue he is concerned with to ruin. Cruel intentions, conflict & selfishness color almost every aspect of this time. He is one who does not really care for anyone other than himself. Obstinate & arrogant he is prone to maliciousness for his personal pleasure. Misuse of mental powers.

Analysis:
We either feel or are being judged today & that inspires a reciprocal anger & resentment in us. Legal problems may be drawn out as focus shifts from the issues at hand to unimportant details. Relationships could be strained as problems are prolonged. Someone may even be abusing the legal system, in a way that we are affected directly, whether we are the perpetrator or not.

Analysis:
Resisting feelings of sadness will prolong the healing process during this time. Current events are heartbreaking, but we find ourselves doing everything to avoid facing it. Attempting to be stoic we are tending toward a cold disposition today, or perhaps this more relates to another who is important to us. Extreme alienation from one’s own feelings. Internal conflict is taking up much of our energy as we find ourselves unable to retreat to solitude.

Analysis:
This is a week of distraction as our creative energies are not being used in a constructive manner, perhaps are even being put to use to take advantage of another. Beware running after the mirage of wealth & what we may be willing to do for nearly worthless reward. Bad decisions are likely to be made in the sphere of emotion, which leads to a general deterioration of the situation, we may be required to be more moderate in approach to a resolution. This is a perfect time to plan out the next phase of our dreams, considering the steps we need to take along the path we have chosen to forge. We find ourselves struggling with a spiritual quagmire this week, as judgments are passed & the real problems are avoided, this is more than likely taking place within a group. The feminine influence is in a perfect position to offer aid to us as required, she is a very skilled negotiator & quite good at guiding others into their own. The masculine influence has lost sight of his inner spark of divinity & as a consequence is sliding away from his success.

There may not be much left, but things are looking better. Hope for the future returns to us. New agreements are very likely to benefit us in a large way. Old, true friends come to our aid. Recovering from negative states of mind. Whispers of better things to come.
